Art and Design Come to life
Inspiration
As a young adult, Telva traveled the world and became enamored with ancient art and glyphs. She studied archeology, Latin American history and culture, as well as, Egyptian art. Her travels have inspired her to find patterns in almost any setting.
Passion
Telva Chase, designer and artist for most of her life, started Truffle Art Design with the desire to explore and create abstract motifs that tell a story. Her detailed artwork is created through a variety of media – watercolor, inks, acrylic, encaustic – a combination of traditional and digital renderings.
Telva is seeking a unique collaboration opportunity with a focus on textiles or apparel that is distinct, has a special feel, no matter how old the audience.
Medium
Today she paints to express herself using many different traditional media: oil, acrylic, encaustic, watercolor, gold leaf, pastel, pen and ink, and colored pencil. Her paintings are often a combination of these to bring about the depth and translucence required in the subject.
She's also adept in the digital space to produce stand-alone and repeat patterns and prints for textiles and apparel.
